colour flash.

It's spring (finally!), and whereever I go, I see one trend. Colour blocking, neon colours and flash colours. Every single magazin I buy tell's me, that colours are must-haves. Okaaay, I have to admit. I've bought a neon-yellow tank top and a turquoise scarve.. Green velvet trousers and a rainbow-headband. I kind of try out every trend, but I never follow it. In the time of goth, I wore smokey eyes, goth boots and big chunky black jewlery (yes. Fail.). Way before that, in 2007, the trends were leather-leggins, black and white and metallic all over. Still I am proud, that I have never been owner of a fake-leather shiny legging. Still, I bought pounds of silver huge klunks, I only wore the tightest jeans, though I dont really have (and had!) the right bod. In 2008 then, Trend was white, puristic, clear lines.. shapes and blazers. After that, I only wore california-style miniskirts and in 2010 i was on a roller-coaster with punky taylor-momsen and cute blake lively styles, but always on heels.
Now it's 2011, and - hey, why dont try out this trend? I think It's cute, wearing camel or light cream colours with berry or blue. Makeup is kept puristic anyways and hair is either slung back or opened, but never styled. *like*.. For example, on sunday, my brother had his holy comunion, and I bought a berry dress with empire-top and flowy, tailled waist with chiffon parts. Combined with neon-orange dangly earrings and dark green nails and toes but simple back wedge-heels. (they're peeptoe, so you can see the toes). I am real exited to try out with the colours, and I'm also really waiting for the summer, cause then we'll see new trends, awsome ideas and fashion inspiration...

saturday night superstar...

it's saturday night and what am I doing ? watching dsds. It's short for the german idol kind of thing.. First time I watched it, I was 7 or something, and I fell in love.
I dont know why, but I am always taken away by the songs, the gossip stories about (honestly) only half-talented teenies put in some kind of roles. But its fun! I just read an article about the show today The columnist said, candidates would be too dumb to remember lyrics and girls would just be bitches jumping around on a huge stage with bad clothes (remeber sarah's dress with the huge music-key on it?!).
But isn't that, what we love ? This years season is great. First a top-favorite-candidate got thrown out, then there was (after the second show!) a nervous breakdown by a seventeen year old blondie,she had to go to hospitals again and again, her dad took her out of the show, but the favourite didnt want to come back. So Sarah, a dark-haired eighteen year old girl came back, and the three left girls basically killed eachother, insulting eachother real bad, and I loved it.Then, after the breakdown of the seventeen year old, the legal protection got activated, and the underage kids werent allowed to be on stage after 22.00 o'clock. there was soooo much protest. every single one of the candidates wer in mags, on the german BRAVO .. just everywhere. Then there was a autograph-date, that had to be cancelled because of 60 injured people and soo much more... Last week, the top favorite justin bieber double got thrown out and right now, the last four candidates are still singing and dancing and running around as easter bunnies on stage ... I'm hooked.

After all, I have to think of a couple things for the next week though, I am driving back home on wednesday, and I still need o grab some traintickets, find out what to wear.. On Thursday then; I'll still have to go to town,  then cook some snacks for the evening for the grillparty!!!! with my favorite afs people :)
But now, commercial of dsds is over! Lets see what'll happen tonight! :)

summer lights.

It's funny how you get happy about real little things! For example the cute pink chiffon dress I just bought online (ohhh gosh, I LOVE asos.), or having breakfast on the balcony, in the sun. Lying around, reading, getting tanned and talking to yassi on the phone :)
I am really enjoying vacation and I cant wait for the kommunion of my brother mike on sunday ♥
Last night I've seen a report about lady diana and I was just thinking, how she always looked that good ?! I mean, she was blonde, but never brainless, always pretty but never overdressed (if she was, then In a good way, I mean she was princess!!)
There are sure 3 reasons for me to watch kates and williams wedding in a week..
1. The german royals copy their bachelor works, so I need some real royals.
2. I wanna see, how you can spend 4 Mio British pounds on a party
3. (and most important) I wanna see her dress!

I am planning to bake a real cute cake for my brother on sunday, and I am already looking forward to spending loads of time baking a cute chocolate cake with icing (I love icing!!) and chocolat :P

Say hello to the mountains...

When I was young, I absolutly hated driving a car. Only Uncle Toms white Truck was awsome, but my Daddy didn't drive a white truck, and I kind of always got carsick. 

Today I was in the car for three hours too, but with my grandparents, driving into the mountains, with a cute black suitcase (with hearts and flowers on it! :) ) and loads of clothes with me. 

I am now in the livingroom of a super-cute flat in the middle of the mountains. The next days are going to be really nice, we are going to go out for dinners, drive to other towns, go shopping, maybe even go skiing. Okaaay, so what am I going to wear?! 

Vintage. Vintage blazers, with huge floral scarves, saturday-night-boyfriend-denims and vans sneakers with beautiful little strawberrys on'em. sooo awsome .

For the evening, I just took a pretty black dress by bench, to ty around the hip, kneelong and kind of flowy around the arms. Rule for such a nice dress: killer heels. I took a pair of beige peeptoes with black korsage around it, but not to overdo...

And what am I wearing now?! Okay, I admit. Only some sweatpants, my favourits, by Abercrombie and Fitch with my ,,I ♥ AFS" -T-Shirt. 

And although I adore heels and skirts and tops and fancy stuff. Sometimes I am the most happy person ever just wearing sweats ;)

Vacation hello!

This will be the quickest post ever! I just packed all my stuff for going to Kierwang today, and I am in loads of stress! I took a full suitcase of clothes... blazers, scarves, shirts, a trenchcoat, bluejeans, killer heels and purses.. I didnt really know If I wanted to go, but after all I am happy to!
Today is the first day of vacation, we just got our report cards and- it could be better, but thats okay, I can still improve and really get better over the year! :)
I am going to catch up tonight when I arrived! :)

instyle makes my saturdays better ...

I have to say that I sometimes am really lazy. Not only a little. For example saturday- yesterday evening. in the afternoon I was at a super-sweet café in karlsruhe. they had awsome coffee, sweetest muffins and most awsome couches. But of course I went with the most amazing people. Melody, a wonderful friendly person whom I hope I'm going to hang out with a LOT more often from now on ! I am so jealous of her name. seriously.
Anyways, on my way home, I grabbed the newest instyle from the bookstore, and I loved the cover. Gwyneth paltrow with super cute beach-wavy-hair and chunky beaded necklaces ! :)
It always feels like the ,,blue box" -effect when holding THE newest instyle in my hands. Turquoise blue, Tiffany, you know? the boxes with the white satin bow around it, feeling you're going to be happy when you open it ;)
So I sat down on the balcony on the new loungy couches and opened the mag. whoooo, blue box!
After a couple pages of marc jacobs, boss and miss chérie commertials- a new chanel page with blake lively. whoooo, jealous.
The first article is about ridig bikes in cities. That means, as soon as one of the columnists get into another town, they go borrow a bike and cruise around. Usually they wear cute denim overalls or chinos with blue shirts, combined with efortless styled hair and huge wayfarer glasses. A basket is a must, to carry shopping items, flowers and the cute purse you dont want to wear over your arms while riding a bike. But seriously. When I am downtown, whereever, I just walk. You get into every street, you dont need to hurry that much, you can just go into every shop without needing to lock up a bike every fifth minuit. I hate riding bikes, I prefer walking. If it's rainy, you can carry a cute (seetrough!!!) umbrella and if its sunny you dont have to walk as fast. So, let the bike stand in the garage.
The new style musthaves are, so says instyle, huge headphones in any colour (mine are pink :P), long maxidresses (ha! I knew it!), parkas with minidresses, colour blocking minibags, black-black outfits (a mix out of punk, grunge, gothic and rock), rosty tinted blazers and of COURSE leo pumps, by chloé or christian louboutin.
but well, It's too late in the year to wear parkas (that is SO november 2010!), colour blocking minibags are only cool when from chanel or gucci, and for one season we dont wanna pay, right? black outfits? not in sunny april! and when do you want to wear leo loubs, if you're not kim kardashian?
There IS one trend that I do want to follow though. Supertight but soft pastell coloured denims in colours like sorbet-yellow, raspberrymilk and mintgreen that you can combine with white, loose tops, sleek blonde hair and huge glasses. Mixed up with darker flats make contrasts and with flipflops you feel like sunkissed! :)
But on page 114, my smile goes up to my ears after reading about the ,,time to (summer-)party" article about the coachella festival! after that, 4 pages of ,,how to festival-dress". make my day, honey.
Speaking of making my day, I still need happy-making new bikinis for the summer. H&M seem to have some cool ones this year, I prefer buying loads and variating every day. Better than only having one, I think.
The rest of the may issue is just as awsome as the first pages, blue box all the way. An article with rob pattinson, bradley cooper, close ups with gwenyth paltrow and katie holmes.
The only things I hate about the magazine was the backpage, megan fox with a cropped bob. eww. Crazy how a bad hairstyling can make such a sexy women look like a housewife.
As a result, I can only say that the instyle of may totally thrilled my saturday evening and helped me out for new points on my shoppinglist. what I need is pastell-green denims, a wide, long and white maxiskirt and bikinis in every colour and shape.
So I cant wait for thursday, for going out to karlsruhe with isabel! I'm going to keep in touch!

Good morning weekend !

Good morning weekend !
It's saturday morning and after making my favorite pancakes with strawberrys for breakfast I'm starting to think of my plans for the weekend. Of course, I'm thinking of doing something usefull like working out or going running , but I guess It'll end up with chilled hoers of watching TV or going out with friends.
It's now spring (officially!) and I am really happy that It's warm enough for wearing dresses and skirts! Speaking of chlothing, i am already preparing my whole closet for spring and summer!
So must haves for me in the summer are:
- cropped t-shirts (okay, I love my bellybutton!)
- Maxidresses (in every color, long and flowy!)
- Plateau Heels (the ones by D&G this year are amazing!)
- denim shorts (will they ever be ,,out"??)
- Hollister skirts and dresses (soooo cute with loads of CAL attitude!)
- Small leather bags!
- mens XL print shirts, knotted with shorts for a festival !

Speaking of a festival, in july of 2011, there is ,,das fest" in Karlsruhe, huge. Its right in the city of KA, and all you need for those 3 festival days is going to be the ,,punk-grunge-hippie"-style. Speaking of minidresses, overknee socks with converse sneakers, ,,the who" or ,,beatle" T_shirts, denim shorts and cropped tops with old vintage leather bags. Three days of just hanging out, no school and (mostly) awsome music!
Cant wait for the summer!
accually, a couple days ago I had a dream of arriving at an airport in argentina, meeting my family there and stuff.. I was really exited and I now am pretty optimistic about the descision for my stay there.
I gotta go, get myself ready for another weekend of spring!

Summer is starting.

While summer is starting all over the country, meanwhile it has a starring role in my life. Sunny days are getting more often everyday, and even if teachers tell us that global warming is making our whole planet suffer everyday, I enjoy the sun a lot. Sorry world. What does the beginning of summer mean for me now ? well, lets say, it means progress. Not only progress in my closet, also in my mind, because I am going to be in Argentina for a year from august on. In the beginning it kinda freaked me out, but now I am happy to have that chance. I just dont know how I can get my whole closet over the big lake...
Whatever, I can deal with that problem in a couple months. Most of my friends are going to a foreign country too. For example Isabel, a wonderful friend, who is going to the - like - craziest place ever (?!) Hongkong. (check out her blog! http://www.ein-jahr-hongkong.de/) Or Isabella, a real cutie, who you're going to find in Russia this year (ohh gosh, I hope she wont die from coldness!). I hope they'll all (and I :P ) will have a wonderful time and awsome experiences!
But If you'd check out a calender, you'll notice that its only april and we still have a couple of months in germany, at home =) Not too bad when you look at the fact that the weather is just ,,beau and chaud", school isnt too hard, and we still have some festivals, partys and girls nights out before us. Lets get 2011 started!

First of all, start out with school, its the most tyering thing, summer could bring. My days always look the same over a day. In the mornings, I stand up at about 6.30, drink my favorite black tea with milkfoam and vanilla, then stand infront of my closet for about 15 minuits, chosing something to wear, and about 3 minuits before I plan to leave the house, I just change. I have school till 4.30 everyday, and after that I mostly am to lazy to do anything intelligent. Like right now. I thought, writing down some thoughts and ideas, blogposts and, I dont know, other crazy things I think of, would be a nice possibility to show people what I do, who I am.
